The expiration date varies by province — they expire on October 9 in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, the Northwest Territories, Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan and the Yukon. Otherwise, they expire on October 16 in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
